For members who have received service from SEC for twelve consecutive months or more, budget billing can help avoid the peak bills that come with winter heating or summer air conditioning. Here's how 'budget billing' works

• A rolling average over the past 12 months is used to calculate a budgeted amount to be billed
• A monthly bill is mailed showing actual usage compared to the budgeted amount you will be bill
• A budgeted bill must be paid by the normal due date or the account will be dropped from budget billing
• A zero balance on account is required to qualify for budget billing.
