JOB POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

The Socorro Electric Cooperative, Inc.  (SEC) has a job opening for a Senior Accountant with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with Professional Certification.

Applicant must have a strong background in the electric utility industry and experience with Rural Utility Services principles, procedures, with established proficiency in financial analysis and experience with accounting software and proficient computer skills.

This position requires strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, a commitment to teamwork, an ability to communicate a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. 

The desire to work on a team is essential.

The SEC offers an excellent salary and benefits package. 

The selected candidate must be on board by July 9, 2012.
